VP Bawumia’s Promise: Phones for All, Paid in Pesewas

A number of politicians interested in running for president of Ghana have begun their campaigns and presenting their goals and pledges to the public as the country approaches its December presidential election.

Because of this, Vice President and presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has said that, should he win, his administration will work with phone makers to allow Ghanaians to purchase phones on credit and make monthly payments of one or two cedis.
