Video: GFA President Kurt Okraku Blast Black Stars Players Over Recent Poor Performances
Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has expressed his disappointment and frustration with the Black Stars’ recent displays.
During a meeting with the team in Accra, where they are currently camping ahead of the African Games qualifying matches, Okraku criticized the players’ subpar performances.
Okraku specifically highlighted the team’s draw against Niger, questioning how professional players could struggle against a side with supposedly weaker players.
“It’s unacceptable that two or four players from Niger’s team wouldn’t make the starting lineup in my own Ghana Dreams FC, yet they managed to hold us to a draw,” Okraku emphasized.
The GFA president’s blunt words have sparked mixed reactions from Ghanaians, with some applauding his tough stance and others labeling his comments as overly harsh.
The Black Stars are gearing up for crucial qualifying matches, and Okraku’s message aims to inspire improvement and accountability within the team.
