Stonebwoy Fires Back at Grammy Article for Leaving Him Out: ‘A Disappointing Oversight
Stonebwoy has voiced his displeasure with a recent Grammy article that omitted his name from the list of significant Ghanaian musicians.
The artist questioned the veracity and comprehensiveness of the piece by writing, “Whoever wrote this article is interestingly missing my name,” in a social media post.
In order to guarantee a thorough and truthful representation of Ghanaian music, he urged the Grammy Academy to “do due diligence before you publish half-dozed articles.”

The article, which featured celebrities like Shatta Wale and emphasized the influence of hiplife, spurred discussion online over representation in global music narratives.
Hiplife, a blend of American hip-hop and Ghanaian rhythms, has greatly influenced music in Ghana and throughout Africa, as the Grammy article highlighted.
Stonebwoy is not happy because the Grammy article didn't have his name mentioned in it.
