Dancehall musician Stonebwoy from Ghana has declared his intention to compete in the 2028 elections as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ashaiman Constituency.

The musician, who graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), made this claim in a recent video with TV3 anchor Cookieteegh.

Stonebwoy, whose true name is Livingstone Etse Satekla, recently completed a degree program at GIMPA and graduated with a Second Class Upper honor, adding another academic accomplishment to his resume.

Along with his musical career, he graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with a second-class upper honors degree.

The singer received praise from peers, fans, and public figures for his dedication to pursuing a career in music and further study.

On the other hand, Stonebwoy highlights in the video how much he has always valued education and how happy he is for the help he had during his academic year.

His credentials and the amount of knowledge he has gained, in his opinion, allow people to significantly impact society.

Speaking about his desire to enter politics, Stonebwoy, however, focused on the Ashaiman Constituency because it is his home and he has a sizable following.

Cookiegh laughed out as he made amusing gestures about how an MP role would be fitting for him, despite the fact that he did not divulge his political party.
