Shatta Wale Tells Stonebwoy to Check His Ego: ‘Facts Matter, Not Pride’ in Grammy Snub Debate
In response to Stonebwoy’s recent complaint of a Grammy article that left his name off of a list of significant Ghanaian hiplife singers, Shatta Wale has responded forcefully.
Shatta Wale posted on social media, asking, “How are you going to demand a shoutout in a hiplife story when you weren’t even aware of the memo at the time? Someone has to gently pop this ego a little bit and let’s give credit where credit is due.
Stonebwoy made this remark after he openly expressed his displeasure, pointing out that his name was “interestingly” omitted from the piece and casting doubt on the Grammy Academy‘s reporting diligence.
