Priest Apologizes for Singing Secular Song by King Paluta in Church

Rev. Father Peter Kusi Twumasi, a Catholic priest serving at St. Stephen Rectorate in Bodomase, in the Ashanti region, has unconditionally apologized for singing King Paluta’s song at church.

However, the Catholic priest responded with a press release after the video went viral and social media users started commenting.

He said that by singing a secular song in a church, he let his defenses down. He did not want to offend the Catholic Church’s traditions. In addition, he acknowledged complete accountability for his deeds and vowed never to do them again.
