Okatakyie Afrifa Drags Prez Mahama For Increasing Water and Electricity Taxes After just His 100Days
President Mahama is being criticized by the public following news of increases in electricity and water tariffs, Okatakyie Afrifa has also reacted to the news, blasting the government for lying to Ghanaians during their campaign, where they assured Ghanaians of reducing tariffs but are now increasing them instead.
In Okatakyie Afrifa’s broadcast, he shared that the NDC and President Mahama have lied to Ghanaians as they are not fulfilling their promises.
It was announced that starting from May 3, electricity tariffs have been increased to 14.75%, and water tariffs have also been increased to 4.02%. Many Ghanaians have expressed their disappointment in the government.
