Obaapa Christy Warns Against Rushing to Judgment on Divorced Couples

Obaapa Christy is not pleased with the remarks made by those who criticize other people’s failed marriages.

The well-known gospel singer from Ghana asked detractors to consider their words when a couple decides to part ways.

Considering the complex issues that some people have in their marriages, she stated that filing for divorce is perhaps the only option. She also urged people who have never married to hold off on passing judgment on those going through a divorce because of circumstances beyond their control.

Following her divorce from her ex-husband, Pastor Love, Obaapa told Fiifi Pratt in an interview on Kingdom FM that she does not give much thought to criticism.

“There are people who profess love to a woman and yet end up killing her. Many things happen, but if you haven’t experienced it, you speak about it carelessly, while the victim knows how it feels.

“I don’t care whether my ex-husband talks too much; we are no longer together, and it’s been 10 years,

She said.

Although the exact cause of Obaapa Christy and Pastor Love’s divorce is unknown, irreconcilable issues were mentioned.
