In a shocking turn of events, Pastor Love, the ex-husband of renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Obaapa Christy, has been sentenced to four years in prison for stealing a vehicle.

According to reports, Pastor Love was entrusted with clearing and selling a vehicle belonging to his friend, Samuel Amankwa, who resides abroad. However, after clearing the vehicle at the port, Pastor Love allegedly sold it without Amankwa’s consent.

Amankwa had instructed Pastor Love not to sell the vehicle, but upon his return to Ghana in 2017, the car was nowhere to be found. Amankwa subsequently reported the incident to the authorities, leading to a protracted court battle.

The court, after ruling on the case since 2017, delivered its verdict, finding Pastor Love guilty of theft and sentencing him to four years in prison.
