No Apology Letter Needed: King Paluta Reacts to Church Vibing to ‘Makoma’

With his hit song “Aseda,” Ghanaian rapper turned singer King Paluta has been experiencing enormous success. This is because several videos have surfaced of the song being played in various churches.

The most recent one originated from a Catholic church, where Reverend Father Peter Kusi Twumasi blessed a marriage and counseled the newlyweds to follow his example.

Reverend Father Peter Kusi Twumasi, who was preaching forgiveness to the newlywed couple in the viral video, lifted the music and then repented upon receiving an order from above.

But a new video featuring yet another church singing to his hit song “Makoma” has surfaced on social media, to which King Paluta has responded and cited on X.

“Make nobody write apology letter come again,”

In response to the video, he wrote something emphasizing his earlier apology.

Some Ghanaians believe that gospel-infused music should be permitted in churches, while others hold that secular artists’ songs shouldn’t be played there because they are not inspired by God.
