Nana Ama McBrown Celebrates 47th Birthday by Paying for Release of 47 Inmates

Nana Ama McBrown Celebrates 47th Birthday by Paying for Release of 47 Inmates

As to several news reports, Nana Ama Mcbrown, a well-known Ghanaian actress and TV personality, has provided funding for the release of 47 prisoners in honor of her 47th birthday.

The Crime Check Foundation’s chief executive officer, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, revealed these details, saying that McBrown’s 47th birthday celebration is set for August 15, 2024.

Mr. Kwarteng stated that Mrs. McBrown Mensah planned to fulfill the aspirations of the 47 prisoners on August 15, 2024, her 47th birthday.

This occurs after Mrs. McBrown Mensah promised in a February 2024 edition of her cookery show, McBrown’s Kitchen, to clear out the jail system in Ghana. She gave the CCF a check for GH¢10,000 to help the organization’s project for minor criminals during the same performance.

But in a recent video shot at Akuse Prison, Mr. Kwarteng implored Ghanaians moved by McBrown’s generosity to offer prayers for her. He added that being a prisoner in Ghana was not a joke and that it was not an easy life.
