Lil Win to Face Court on July 31 Over Martha Ankomah’s GHc5m Defamation Lawsuit

On July 31, the defamation action launched by actress Martha Ankomah against Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lil Win, will be reviewed by an Accra High Court.
This follows the conclusion of the Case Management Conference, which was conducted at the High Court in Accra on July 25 under the direction of Justice Forson Agyapong Baah.
Due to his absence from the last session and lack of legal representation, the judge has ordered that Lil Win be informed of the hearing and the court’s notes through the customary channels.

The lawsuit was filed on February 14 by Martha Ankomah, who said that Lil Win had made some disparaging comments about her.
Ankomah claims Lil Win wrongly accused her of demeaning Kumawood actors and refusing to work with them because she thought their schemes were of low quality.
