Ladies, Don’t Rush into Marriage, Wait Till 35 – McBrown Advises

Renowned Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown revealed that if she could go back in time and be younger again, she would only consider marriage and starting a family with one man—possibly after the age of 35.

Speaking about well-known media figure Bola Ray on the Starr FM award-winning StarrChat program, she made this claim.

Despite the prevalent belief in this region that a woman should marry young in order to have children before reaching menopause, the CEO of Empress Production chose to voice a different opinion.

She believes that a woman should never feel pressured to think that having a child at a younger age must inevitably result in marriage to the same man. Instead, she should choose to give birth whenever she wishes.

Despite her hasty admission that she knew full well that the things she was saying would get her into problems on social media, she still feels that what she was saying was true.

The current host of Onua TV’s Onua Showtime program highlighted that she had this opinion because, in her own words, her personal interactions with other people had taught her that one shouldn’t rush into marriage because it’s what society expects.

She did not, however, limit her remarks to women. Men were the subject of Nana Ama McBrown‘s advice, which was to think about getting married after turning forty or forty-five.
