KK Fosu Clarifies Absence from John Claude Tamakloe’s Funeral: ‘I Didn’t Know Him Personally

Ghanaian artists KK Fosu and Bless were involved in a horrific accident on Saturday, May 25, on the Accra-Apam highway.

While the vocalists survived the collision with serious injuries, blogger John Fui Tamkloe, also known as John Claude, died.

While scores of industry executives attended John Claude’s funeral on July 19, KK Fosu and Bless were noticeably missing.

Several industry insiders and bloggers have expressed worry regarding KK Fosu and Bless‘ absence from John Claude’s burial.

In a recent interview, the highlife crooner, who considered playing in a wheelchair at the TGMAs six days after his accident, said that he is still recovering from his injuries and was not informed about the burial in advance, which is why he was absent.

On Hitz FM’s morning broadcast, KK Fosu addressed concerns regarding his absence from John Claude’s funeral. He stated that no bloggers phoned to check on him, but they criticized him for not attending the funeral. They don’t care about the living. They only care about the deceased.

He went on to say, “No one knew anything about John Claude before his death.” If anything, the bloggers were expected to express their affection at his funeral.”

The highlife crooner’s tone-deaf statements have stirred outrage online. Elorm Beenie, a senior colleague of John Claude Tamakloe, has chosen to stay from the hysteria around the late blogger, stating that his families are extremely noble and would not want any stupid things floating around his demise.
