King Paluta’s latest track is Pure n0nsense! – Bongo Ideas Fires King Paluta
Controversial social media influencer, Bongo Ideas, has sparked outrage after launching a scathing attack on Ghanaian musician, King Paluta, over his latest song, “For the Popping”.
In a fiery Facebook post, Bongo Ideas described Paluta’s track as “total nonsense”, questioning the artist’s management and production quality.
“Does King Paluta even have a manager or studio manager? If he does, they need to work him out immediately. This latest track is pure nonsense. The beat was bearable, but the lyrics are absolute trash,” Bongo Ideas wrote.

He further compared Paluta’s work unfavorably to Nigerian artists, stating, “Nigerians are out there producing global hits, while we’re here dropping senseless garbage and dreaming of winning Grammys.”
Bongo Ideas concluded his rant by praising an alternative track, “Showboy featuring Osekrom Sikani”, as “hundred times better” than Paluta’s song.
Ghanaians quickly took to social media to react to Bongo Ideas’ harsh criticism, with many defending Paluta’s artistic expression and accusing Bongo Ideas of being overly critical.
“Who made Bongo Ideas the music guru? Let artists create without unnecessary criticism,” Facebook user commented.
Others, however, agreed with Bongo Ideas’ assessment, arguing that the Ghanaian music industry needs constructive feedback to improve.
“Bongo Ideas is right. We need to raise the bar in our music industry. Mediocrity won’t take us far,” Facebook user posted.
The controversy has ignited a debate about artistic freedom, criticism, and the state of the Ghanaian music industry.
