Juju Knows No Borders: Esther Smith Shares Her Personal Experience UK

Famous Ghanaian gospel singer Esther Smith has openly talked about her experiences with witchcraft and black magic, or “juju,” in the UK. This issue is still present in Ghana and continues to have an impact on the country’s arts and entertainment industry.
In a startling admission about her life in the UK, Esther described a morning when she found “two bones tied with a red cloth” at her door.
She stressed that this is a clear reminder that witchcraft, or “juju,” crosses geographical bounds and is therefore unavoidable, in contrast to common African views.
She had a major wake-up call as a result of this frightening event, which led her to fight a spiritual war for her life and career.
The “Ma Wosan” hitmaker revealed this during a recent episode of GTV’s “Spectacle” with Hagar Owusu.
The celebrated crooner also related a startling incident that happened just before her Columbus, Ohio, performance.
The head pastor of the church unexpectedly became unwell on the day of the ceremony. Later on, it was discovered that egg crates—a traditional symbol of “juju”—had been placed all around the church.
As she thought back on these encounters, Esther Smith joked that “the witches outside Africa are even more powerful and numerous than those back home,” expressing her sincere gratitude for God’s steadfast protection.
