“I won’t allow my children to marry Christian – Famous Ghanaian actress Kalsoume Sinare

“I won’t allow my children to marry Christian – Famous Ghanaian actress Kalsoume Sinare

Renowned Ghanaian actress, Kalsoume Sinare, has ignited a heated debate after publicly declaring her disapproval of interfaith marriage, specifically between Muslims and Christians.

In a recent interview, the actress, a devout Muslim, expressed her reluctance to accept a Christian son-in-law or daughter-in-law. She cited her faith’s teachings, emphasizing the importance of marrying within the Muslim community.

“The deceased rely on prayers from their loved ones,” she explained. “As a Muslim, I wouldn’t want my children to pray for me in a Christian way after I’m gone.”

The actress’s statement has sparked outrage among some Ghanaians, who condemn her views as intolerant and divisive.

“This is unacceptable in modern society,” said a social media user, a human rights activist. “Love knows no religion.”

However, others have come to her defense, arguing that her personal beliefs and values should be respected.
