John Mahama has promised to introduce a national day of prayer and thanksgiving.
NDC flag bearer John Mahama has promised to introduce a national day of prayer and thanking should he win the 2024 election.
Speaking on a campaign trail, the former President said the Bible tells us that in all things we need to give thanks to the lord so he will set aside a day annually for the nation to pray and give thanks to God.
According to him the United States of America have a day for thanksgiving and he’s been to invited national day for thanksgiving in countries like Zambia and Congo
He explained that even though God expects us to work hard to improve our circumstances, some nations also recognizes that spiritual you must intercede for God to open the gates for you.

John Mahama added that the national prayers and thanksgiving day will be for both Muslims so all of us together will intercede with God to continue to open the doors for Ghana for the country to prosper.
