I Didn’t Turn Down “A Country Called Ghana” – They Rejected My Terms Yet Accepted Same Term From Ramsey Noah – Van Vicker

Van Vicker has refuted claims that he rejected a role in “A Country Called Ghana” movie.

Celebrated Ghanaian actor Van Vicker has refuted claims that he turned down an offer to feature in “A Country Called Ghana” by Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin.

The likes of Van Vicker and Martha Ankomah were accused of turning down roles in the much hyped movie produced by Weezy Empire, a production house owned by Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin.

Kwadwo Nkansah made it seem like they rejected the offer because it’s a kumasi movie and the Accra based English actors look down on kumasi movies.

Van Vicker has finally had to the chance to explain his side of the story in an interview on Kumasi based Hello Fm.

According to him he was in school when they reached out to him with the role and he was willing to accept.

During the negotiation they requested that he will be on set for a month and he told them he can finish everything in 10 days.

According to him in the industry the more days you spend on set, the more money you’re paid.

When he was waiting on the producers to either accept the 10 days offer or increase their money if they insist on one month, all he saw was his role has been given to Ramsey Noah.

Van Vicker explained that he monitored the whole movie filming and Ramsey Noah used 10 days to finish his role.

He expressed his surprise on why the producers rejected his 10 days proposal yet his replacement used same 10 days.
