I Broke Up With Zack Because He Was Broke – Bernice Asare Explains Why She Left Director Zack
Popular Ghanaian actress, Bernice Asare, has revealed the reasons behind her split from director Zack in an exclusive interview.
Asare attributed the breakdown of their relationship to Zack’s financial instability and lack of ambition.
“We lived in a single room, where I had to cook inside. I constantly urged Zack to seek better opportunities, but he wasn’t receptive,” Asare explained.
At the time, Zack managed a lilwin, but struggled financially. Asari, who was her mother’s sole support, felt compelled to prioritize her family’s future.

“I couldn’t afford to stay in a relationship that offered no financial security. I had to leave and seek better opportunities for myself and my family,” Asare stated.
