Rapper and musician King Paluta, who was born and raised in Kumasi, Ghana, has received a Grammy Award in recognition of his achievements in the country’s music industry.
The hitmaker of “Aseda” was listed among the top 10 performers who are crucial to Ghanaian hiplife.
Hiphop and Ghanaian culture are combined in the Ghanaian musical genre known as “hiplife.”Hiplife, which is primarily recorded in Ghanaian Akan, began to acquire popularity in the 2010s both domestically and internationally, particularly in the UK, US, Canada, and Germany.
