Ghanaian Pastor Shows Compassion: Pays Off GH¢11K Debt of Man Who Wept Bitterly
Jonathan Agyeman Prempeh, a Ghanaian pastor, has shown compassion to the man who sobbed inconsolably in a video after being arrested by financial institution officials for not repaying a debt.
After being humiliated by Bills Micro Credit staff, Jonathan Mensah has gained widespread attention on the internet.
To shed light on the occurrence, he explained that he had taken out a loan to cover his father’s funeral costs but was unable to repay it as agreed, which prompted the financial institution to take action.

Many Ghanaians were moved by his narrative and turned to social media to show their compassion for Mr. Mensah.
The general supervisor of Ultimate Charismatic Center, Prophet Agyemang Prempeh, subsequently paid off his debt with generosity as well. Photos posted online capture the moment the prophet approached Mr. Mensah and proposed the money.
After watching the video, various netizens expressed their opinions in the comments area. The prophet was praised by some for his gesture, but others said he would return for another loan.
