In Other News; Akonoba’s younger brother, Nana Yaw Sampene, tragically passed away in July 2024 at the tender age of 17. The funeral, held on August 10, 2024, was a sombre affair, with visibly heartbroken and inconsolable.
Nana Yaw was a student at Opoku Ware SHS, and his untimely death left the family and community devastated.
Videos from the funeral circulated on social media, showing Akonoba in tears, mourning the loss of his brother.
