From Critic to Fan: Luciano Seeks Redemption and Collaboration with Stonebwoy After Belgium Concert

As previously reported, Stonebwoy, the reigning Ghanaian music artist of the year, flew his crew and musicians over the weekend to Belgium for his performance at the Reggae Geel festival.

On August 3, Stonebwoy gave the festival’s gold stage performance, sharing the stage with a plethora of other international artists, including Skip Marley.

After making his solo debut at Europe’s oldest reggae event, Stonebwoy thrilled the crowd for the second time. Eight years beforehand

Stonebwy was fired by Luiciano during his interview, alleging that the “Overlord” did not speak authentic Portuguese. This created a lot of controversy online, with followers expressing their varied views.

Luciano, who finds it hard to believe Stonebwoy is hosting a concert, has since changed his mind and is now praising him despite his previous remarks disparaging Stonebwoy’s skill and labor of love.

Throughout the presentation, Stonebwoy sang a number of his catalog’s hits. He also shared glimpses of his performance on social media with the comment,

In the video that Stonebwoy released, Luciano is heard acknowledging that the BET Award-winning musician is a true talent and a jewel.
