In an interview with Captain Caesar on TikTok, Akua stated that Emelia Brobbey confided in her about being enchanted with “thieving spirits” by a colleague in the movie industry. According to Akua, Emelia believes this spiritual interference drives her to steal.

“Emelia told me that during prayers, she was informed that a colleague had enchanted her with stealing spirits,” Akua said. “She can’t control herself when it comes to taking people’s items.”
