E-Levy Is Back! Afenyo Markin EXPOSES NDC Over New Tax On Ghanaians Which Is Bigger Than E-Levy
NPP’s Afenyo Markin has heavily criticized the NDC and Mahama over the new levy being introduced as an “E-Levy”.
Ghanaians are surprised and disappointed after it was made public that the government is introducing a new levy of GHC 1 on fuel purchases, meaning every liter of fuel will attract a GHC 1 levy to help the energy sector reduce “dumsor” in Ghana.

Minority Leader Afenyo Markin has described the approach as a lie to Ghanaians, because the government had promised not to introduce any new levies and had even cancelled existing ones. During a parliamentary session, Afenyo Markin pointed out that the government is deceiving Ghanaians.
