A outspoken social media influencer Twene Jonas has sparked controversy after issuing a stern warning to pastor Adom Kyei Duah during a recent live broadcast.
Twene Jonas condemned the practice of Adom Kyei Duah using police to arrest individuals who insult or disagree with him, stressing that this misuse of authority undermines the primary role of law enforcement.
“Ghana’s police force has more pressing priorities, such as tackling road crimes and other criminal activities, rather than serving as personal enforcers for pastors,” he emphasized.
He urged the government to address this issue, ensuring that police resources are allocated effectively to maintain societal peace and apprehend actual criminals.
“Police should not be used to intimidate or punish those who disagree with a pastor’s views or methods,” he added.
