Desperate Mother of Three Pleads for Help to Repay GHS 330K Debt Incurred from Sending Money to Online Partner She’s Never Met

Noel Akivembe is a distraught mother of three who is pleading for financial assistance to pay off her mountain of bills.

The young Kenyan woman was defrauded by a prospective husband she never met of KSh 2.8 million, or GHS 331,066.87.

Noel says she’s close to going into depression.

Noel revealed in an interview with Tuko News that she was unaware of her friend’s deception since she was too old to see it coming.

During the interview, Noel talked about how she obtained loans from friends and family to send money to her suitor via her buddy.

I was able to send KSh 10,000, KSh 20,000, or KSh 50,000 on occasion. I borrowed about KSh 300,000 from my brother and used his friend’s money as collateral, receiving a total of roughly KSh 600,000.

“My friends also gave me loans that I had to repay when my husband arrived in Kenya. The funds covered his travel expenses, medical bills, and living expenses while he was away.

When her prospective suitor stopped talking to her and the friend who served as the trustee vanished for more than a year, the mother of three found herself in danger.
