Boxer Ayittey Powers Credits TB Joshua’s Poster for Saving Him from Near-Fatal Stabbing by Girlfriend
The late Nigerian prophet TB Joshua’s poster, according to retired Ghanaian boxer Ayittey Powers, miraculously prevented him from being stabbed by his lover.
The former WBC International champion told the story of how, while he was visiting his ex-girlfriend, whom he had offered to stay the night after she missed her bus to Kumasi, his girlfriend unexpectedly turned up at his house.
Ayitey claimed that when his fiancée saw the image of TB Joshua hanging on his wall, she froze and refrained from throwing the bottle at him.
“I’ve been getting amazing results from his picture in my room. I opened the poster in my room after feeling compelled to do so, instead of using it to commemorate his first birthday.
If I start discussing about the miracles the poster has been doing in my room, I won’t be able to finish. I have a girlfriend, but I’m not married.
“My ex called me one day to tell me she had arrived in Accra and that she wanted to spend the night in my house because she couldn’t go back. My girlfriend answered no when I called her right away to ask if she would be coming that evening.
While we (he and his ex) were there, my girlfriend showed up. She wanted to hit my ex in the head with a bottle, but anytime she tried, she froze,” he recounted.
The retired boxer added that the poster went the extra mile of speaking to the angry girlfriend,
“The TB Joshua calendar asked her, ‘What do you think you are going to do?”
Ayittey Powers is a devoted disciple of the prophet, saying that he was more affected by the prophet’s passing than by the deaths of his parents and mother.
“When I think back on his passing, I sometimes understand that God operates in strange ways. At what age could Prophet TB Joshua have passed away? I had scheduled a visit to his church after he called, but he passed away before then.

“We were unaware that he was going to pass away, but he stated he wouldn’t be celebrating his birthday. Together, we talked about a wide range of topics. Thus, the loss of TB Joshua hurts me more than the passing of my parents,” the man remarked.
