Bawumia’s Credit Scoring Card Plan Gets Thumbs Down from Kwaku Manu, Who Says Jobs Matter More

Bawumia’s Credit Scoring Card Plan Gets Thumbs Down from Kwaku Manu, Who Says Jobs Matter More

Award-winning actor Kwaku Manu has given Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), some direct advise.

Dr. Bawumia should reevaluate his priorities, Kwaku Manu said on UTV Showbiz, pointing out that Ghanaians are more concerned with getting a job to support themselves than they are with borrowing money to buy phones.

Kwaku Manu emphasized that although he acknowledged Dr. Bawumia’s idea, it is not the current solution the nation needs.

He drew attention to the fact that credit purchases are prevalent in developed nations where those with a track record of repayment are granted access to these facilities, not the unemployed.

Kwaku Manu drew attention to Ghana’s urgent problem of rising unemployment, which has a substantial negative impact on working people’s pay. Before putting Dr. Bawumia’s credit card scheme into action, he begged him to concentrate on giving residents jobs.

Many Ghanaians have shared their opinions in the intense debate that has been generated by the actor’s remarks.
