Addi Self Speaks Out Against Former Boss Shatta Wale, Accuses Him of Deceiving Fans with False Promises of Cars and Houses

Jafaro Mohammed, popularly known as Addi Self, is a former militant in the Shatta Movement and a devoted member of the Shatta Movement Empire. He has exposed his former master for broken promises.

During an appearance on Showboy’s podcast, Addi Self discloses that Shatta Wale broke most of the promises made during the contract signing, which forced him to leave the camp.

After their huge hit song “Taking Over,” Addi Self claims that he was promised a house and a car, among other things, but he hasn’t gotten any of them.

While Shatta Wale did provide him some money for transportation, Addi Self continues, it did not live up to the expectations that many outsiders had of him when he was a member of the group.

When asked if Shatta Wale had received spiritual fortification, Addi Self disputed the assertion, stating that he solely believes in the highest God and that, contrary to what is frequently claimed online, he never sought spiritual fortification from any spiritualist.

Shatta Wale has a history of bragging about being the wealthiest musician in Ghana, thus his comments have drawn criticism on social media.

In 2020, Shatta Wale and the members of his militant organization broke up after the ‘On God’ singer angrily kicked them out of the camp.

Though the exact reasons for their breakup are unknown, rumors have it that they may not have stood behind Shatta Wale when he was being accused of song theft by rapper Kweku Smoke.

Shatta Wale further asserts in the self-recorded videos that they failed because they were too indolent to pursue their musical professions professionally.
