Walkathon Seidu Rafiwu Has Not Collapsed, Video Circulating Was a Massage Break

In a bid to set new Guinness world records, Ghanaian athlete Seidu Rafiwu embarked on a daring walkathon however his ambitious and endeavors took a worrying turn when he fainted during the walk and was rushed to the hospital…

Rafiwu was attempting to set a new record for 381 km longest-distance walk on foot from Techiman to Accra.

Rafiwu’s Walkerton begins with much enthusiasm by beginning the Journey From Techiman To Accra on foot, he is embarking on a 381 km journey.

However, Rumors circulating on social media that Seidu Rafiwu has collapsed have been debunked by his medical team members.

The standard approved by Guinness World Records is that participants are allowed to take a 5-minutes break every hour or 20-minutes break after 4 hours.

The video circulating was massage he was getting after his first break after 4 hours of walking on Friday.

Quick Update from Rafiwu’s Medical Team:

According to Gerry Gee GH, who spoke to Seidu Rafiwu’s medical team throughout the journey, they are surprised by his energy and perseverance.

Currently, they are at Asona in the Eastern Region, just a few miles from Nkawkaw.

 

Seidu Rafiwu Has Walked 51 hours on foot from Teachiman to Accra and he’s currently en route to Nkawkaw, Seidu is very focused and nothing can stop him from breaking the 381 km business world record.
