Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta was declared wanted by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) after he failed to report for investigation. He’s alleged to be trying to escape questioning.
After the election, several members of the previous administration have been accused of mishandling government resources and are currently being investigated by the OSP under the new government.
Among those being investigated is former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta. He was invited to the OSP’s office in February but didn’t attend, citing health issues. His appearance was rescheduled to June 2, but he didn’t respond this time either.
According to reports, Ofori-Atta traveled to the US for medical treatment. However, the OSP believes he’s trying to evade investigation and has now declared him wanted
