Okatakyie Hotel CEO Mr. Anane Allegedly Assaults a Customer with a G^n While Boasting of Effia MP’s Protection?

A shocking case of alleged assault and abuse of power has emerged in Takoradi, involving Mr. Kojo Asante Anane, CEO of Okatakyie Hotel. He is accused of attacking a customer, Daniel Pumi, without provocation.

According to the victim, Mr. Anane first used a belt and later brandished a pump-action gun while brutally assaulting him. Following the attack, Pumi was reportedly arrested under false accusations and detained at the Takoradi Central Police Station.

Despite sustaining serious injuries, Pumi remained in custody until a friend secured his release with a Gh¢1,000 bail payment.

Disturbingly, Mr. Anane, a well-known supporter of the opposition NPP, is allegedly boasting about his influence over the Takoradi police and Effia MP, Hon. Yaw Boamah-Nyarko, claiming he is beyond legal repercussions.
