KNUST Political Science lecturer has blamed the youth of today lazy attitude for the increasing rate of unemployment.
Prof. John Osei Bobei-Boahin, a Political Science lecturer at KNUST says youth who cry over unemployment are lazy.
In an interview on Onua Fm, the host Nana Ya Brefo tried to push the blame on universities on how they educate the youth and their theory based programs.
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology Professor refused to take the blame and said in his 10 years as political science lecturer he’s realized the youth are just lazy.
According to him the youth of today do not coordinate among themselves and it’s part of the reasons why they are unemployed.
He says as a graduate of history, you can move to towns and engage chiefs on how to document history of the town, their culture and its people yet these youth are waiting to be employed.
Prof. John Osei Bobei-Boahin explained that in his days he had no phone and laptops for research but he did most with the little opportunity he had.
