Efia Odo Slams Bloggers for Taking Her 2019 Marriage Joke Seriously:It Was All a Joke
Efia Odo, a Ghanaian socialite turned musician, addressed rumors about her purported clandestine marriage in 2019.
Efia Odo turned to X (previously Twitter) to reject media claims about her purported secret marriage. The socialite claimed that her statements were misinterpreted.
The socialite was disappointed with the media’s treatment of the reported nuptials. Critics were encouraged to listen to her podcast in order to obtain accurate information.

She posted on social media, saying:
“Lazy bloggers ! So you can’t for once watch the podcast and draw your own conclusions ? All you people know is copy and paste. I’m disappointed in you once again! I said I was JOKING! Eiii.”
During a recent talk with social media personalities Gisela Amponsah and Ama Burland, as well as counselor Lutterodt, Efia Odo revealed in a recent edition of her podcast Rants, Bants, and Confessions that she had secretly married an unnamed ex-partner in a private ceremony in 2019.
She also mentioned that she separated from her previous husband in 2021 after two years of marriage. She gave as her reasons for divorcing her partner’s infidelity and financial difficulties.
The socialite continued, saying that although she was aware of her ex-husband’s financial difficulties before to their marriage, she still had great expectations for their union.
Later on in the podcast, she acknowledged that the entire tale of her purported marriage was a hoax and that she had made it up.
