You have cur$ed Yourself If You’re In Ashanti Region and You Vote For John Mahama – Napo Says
A recent statement by Napo, the running mate to Bawumia and potential Vice President of Ghana if the NPP wins the upcoming election, has ignited a firestorm on social media.
During an NPP rally, Napo addressed Ashanti region members, cautioning that voting for John Dramani Mahama, the NDC aspirant, would be tantamount to “cursing oneself”.
Napo’s reasoning stems from the NDC’s past actions, specifically the sacking of Ashanti region executives and replacement with new regional executives, allegedly hindering the region’s progress. He urged Ashanti residents to vote for the NPP to ensure an easier life and increased representation in government.

However, many Ghanaians have condemned Napo’s message as discriminatory and disrespectful to the NDC. Critics argue that his words may be perceived as divisive and harmful to the democratic process.
