Wendy Shay and King Paluta’s New Single Takes the Internet by Storm

Ghanaian afro-pop singer Wendy Shay revealed her new song, Special Love, featuring King Paluta, on Wednesday, August 21.

This follows reports of the singer’s purported departure from her label, Rufftown Records, run by veteran record executive Bullet. The song was made available on August 22 at midnight, one day following Wendy Shay’s unexpected news.

Before their next album, Wendy Shay shared a new video of herself and King Paluta working on a music video.

When the two singers reunited in London for this year’s Ghana Party in The Park, they worked together on the song Special Love for the first time.

 

Regarding Wendy Shay’s latest album, he stated, “There is no better time for the release of this collaboration than now,” in an interview with entertainment expert Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh. Wendy Shay has not released any new music since she was traveling the world giving performances.

She will be the first to enjoy King Paluta’s newly acquired fame, which has been conferred upon him by The Recording Academy, one of the largest music organizations in the world.”
