KNUST Prempeh II Library Evacuated Due to Fire Scare, Students’ Exam Prep Disrupted
There was a serious fire panic when a fire started on the third level of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Prempeh II Library.
According to preliminary findings, the August 4 incident was started by a malfunctioning electrical outlet.
According to Joy News, everything soon returned to normal, and students resumed their studies in advance of the impending second-semester exams.

A few videos of the chaos following the discovery of the fire were posted by Voice of KNUST. Following the fire, no casualties were reported.
Following the fire, KNUST SRC President-elect Kane Nana Francis encouraged students not to overload electrical outlets and reminded them of fire safety precautions.
This incident occurred after a Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology hostel was completely destroyed by fire.
